James Dawson, a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, is a shareholder with the Minneapolis/St. Paul Law Firm of Felhaber, Larson, Fenlon and Vogt, P.A. and has served as the Firm's President and Chairman of the Firm's Board of Directors. His areas of expertise include representation of clients in labor and employment law matters and related litigation both before state and federal courts and the National Labor Relations Board. He serves as a management member of the American Bar Association Committee on the Development of the Law under the National Labor Relations Act, and is a past Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Mr. Dawson has been a contributing editor to The Developing Labor Law, a nationally recognized text on labor law, and has authored numerous articles on employment law issues. He has also been a frequent lecturer, locally and nationally, addressing bar and business groups on labor and employment law topics. Mr. Dawson is a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, headquartered in Washington, DC, is a non-profit professional organization honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in labor and employment law.
